Recently, I bought an AnalogMan Mini-Chorus. Using battery power it is perfectly fine, no noise. When I plug it in to a power source, I get noise. It doesn't cancel out the bass tone, just a low humming buzz. Anyone else experience this? Tx.

I am out all day today, tomorrow, I have to break out the wallwart and see if it does it on it's own. I have a BBE Supa-Charger I will try it with also, but the Voodoo Lab is kind of key b/c it has the AC outlet for my wireless.

I would expect that kind of interference from something like a 1spot, but certainly not from your Voodoo! I guess trying the battery will tell the tale...

Just for s***s and giggles...It shouldn't make a difference since the outputs are isolated. Worth a test though! |

I've owned two Bi-Chorii (choruses?) in the past and tried them with a Voodoo labs power supply, 1-Spots (numerous ones), a BBE Supa Charger, and daisy chained with a ton of other pedals. Never had a hum problem with either of them.
Currently I own a Mini Chorus and am running it off of a 1-Spot in a daisy chain with other pedals including a power hungry digital pedal, and am not experiencing any noise (other than what the pickups are getting from the annoying buzzing fluorescent lights).
Is the noise happening only when the Mini Chorus is turned on?
Have you tried switching the voodoo labs output spot? (eg. output 1 to output 3)
Are you using output 7 or 8 and have the voltage turned down?
Is the voltage switch set away from normal operation on the output that you are using?
Are there other pedals that are also experiencing the same problems?
Hopefully this is something that is easy to fix. I'm hoping that you get everything all cleared up! |

All is well now!
Thanks for some great customer service from Analog Mike!!
