IMO, it's as good as it gets for chorus pedals............easily as good as the Analogman, IMO again. If you don't like it, you could likely sell it back for most/all of what you paid for it and then spring for the Analogman.
One caveat about the THC though: It provides a little boost in volume whan engaged. That can be a good or bad thing depending on your needs, but I could see some people being put off by that.
Either way, you stand to wind up with a world-class chorus. Good luck.

I had an Analogman with deep toggle for a while (great chorus...only sold it to help fund a fretless bass purchase).
After a few weeks without chorus, I really wanted one back in my rig. Decided to go with the Homebrew after reading up on it and buying one of HBE's phasers late last year (really nice pedal!!).
Not sure I remember enough about how the Analogman sounded to do a direct comparison when the HBE arrives, but looking forward to my impressions. If the HBE phaser is any indication of what I'm in for..........bring it on!!! |

Got the HBE chorus and it was incredibly noisy/swooshy.
I played with it for about a half hour and it was back in the box and returned to the dealer.
Bummer. |

yet to be able to compare it to a analogman tho.
if i had the spare money to have spare pedals laying around (i kinda have a few spare ones around =( deepimpact p&c etc) i wouldnt mind having it again. if you have a good price on it, get it! and if you find you that you dont like it... let me know =p |
