I like to think that I have a different approach to reviewing effects. My reviews are the water, and a WHOLE lot more, and I have a backlog that is eating into my writing time.
With that, I have a request: would you please look into my public profile, and pick the pedal I should review next? There will be a queue, should a consensus not be reached.

The following pedals have met my keyboard, with titles afterword:
Fulltone Clyde Deluxe - "Who Names Their Kids 'Clyde' Anymore?"
Moog MF-108M ClusterFlux - "It's No Fun When They Beat You To The Punch."
Morley Power Wah Boost - "Duh Dah Duh Doo Duh Deh Duh WAAH"
EHX Stereo Polychorus - I refuse to name this one, for reasons I have mentioned elsewhere
DOD FX-17 - "In The Same Way As The Cowboys"
MXR Script Phase 90 w/LED - "Safe But Not Exactly Sane"
EHX Deluxe Electric Mistress - "Gambling With Effects (Literally)"
Danelectro Psycho Flange, but it was written very poorly, in my opinion - "Danelectro Psycho Flange"

BMS - 1
Moog MF-102 - 1
Bear in mind that I cannot, and will not, review effects that I have not tried, but if I can't take this type of friendly ribbing, then I will have learned nothing about anger management lo these past five-and-a-half months. Thus, I would be useless to you all.
It also occurs to me that I have experience with a couple of pedals that I have never owned: the Chicago Iron Parachute, and the MXR BOD. I have posts about them.
In lieu of a GWAR concert this evening, which would have been at best disappointing, I need something to fill my time before I fall asleep from exhaustion. You have twenty minutes.

My vote counts twice because this time I'm drunk.

Anyway, I would like some more votes. I am preparing for my next big review, and I need some more feedback.

The tally remains at three votes for the Moog MF-102. However, I am open to bypassing that result, but only for a Strymon Ola or an Effectrode Vibra-Chorus.

The Catalinbread review is called "Not Malfunction, Stephanie..."

| | Registered User | | Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Ennui | | | Time for a status update: Since I last posted, I have begun work on the MF-102 review. It is turning out to be very difficult - even more so than the Catalinbread, which was hampered by my grandfather's death. I have also finished one about a Vox V-847, which was decent, added an ending to the Polychorus review, released a Danelectro Cool Cat 18v review, which was okay, and have begun work on the Red Llama clone. It promises to be my most scientific review, largely because I'm using the Journal of Human Evolution format to write it.
