Pretty intrigued by this. Has octave up and sounds pretty righteous on guitar.

Sound samples here

Anyone tried one out on bass?

I tried one at pedalgeek about 2 weeks ago....didn't really do anything for me at all and loses a lot of low end on bass.

Does sound killer on guitar though! I tell you what though, that Route 808 Overdrive is in trouble, I'm going to have to pick one of those up, an 808 with a bass boost could be just the thing for me. The Route 808 is the Jekyll channel from the Jekyll and Hyde, which has had some good reviews here claiming it keeps the bottom intact and whatnot, so I'm intrigued with that one.

I'm pretty sure that the bass player from QOTSA uses this. look in the pedal boards of the stars or the thread i opened on him not to long ago.

I love this pedal for guitar, I have tried it with bass and it sounds pretty wicked but I have yet to use it in a live setting.

How does the octave up sound? I am interested in using it to add more top end and bite in order to do unison type leads with the guitarist. I love harmonised leads, but we're a three piece and the cash always splits better three ways than four.

Nah, the bassist of Paramore has it though.

TO quote me... err I mean bump.

Anyone on TB actually using this pedal - with Bass. If so, how do you find it? Will it do the unison thing?

BTW, I'm in Japan, so "just trying one" is a little harder than you might think. Then in the case that it is in stock, it will cost around double. Lame... At least the yen still has some strength against the dollar - hooray for ebay!
