So the band is getting back together, and we have two ideas together.
We recorded them to catelog them, and I thought I would post some snippets for the group to hear...
The first of them will be the song with words. I used the Animato for the Chorus, and clean Pedulla otherwise. The recording is a mic'ed Marshall 1x15 cab, the Guitar is mic'ed 1960 Marshall, mic'ed drums, and direct vocals.
The second song uses the Deep Impact through the verse and the animato in the chorus.
Since people ask for examples, I thought I could post them... Which I'll do later at home... |

seriously though, i don't think it sounds that muse-y. and it definitely doesn't sound like you're ripping off chris - i know how the temptation can be! but yeah, i just can't hear the pedal that much in the clip. so any chance of what i said earlier? |

I think for joe average, playing through a single amp... it's an expensive, slightly nasal, bass robbing version of the rat. |

Veryy interresting..I've had tubescreamer based pedals, muffs galore, tonebenders, and all manners of other S**t, but two archetype pedals I have never really spent enough time with are Rats and Fuzz Faces, although i have spent time with a wooly mammoth clone and a Dunlop hendrix fuzz that are both mean to be based on fuzz faces.
Time for a rat.....Then a fuzz face.

Please correct me if I'm mistaken, Kaput. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
