OK, I already know I will move these around a little bit to see what I prefer, but I want to see what the general consensus around here is. All these are on the floor in front of my rig, not in the FX loop.
I'm thinking:
TU3-- EBS MultiDrive-- Flanger-- BEF-- Wah
Whaddya think?

with the flanger after the Multidrive, you'll get a crazy sweeping distortion vs. having the reverse order and getting a disotorted sweep. make sense?
me personally would go TU3, Wah, Flanger, other, Drive
but then again, it's all in your style and taste.

otherwise my order would be
TU3-- WAH ---EBS MultiDrive-- Flanger-- BEF
My order is:
Bass -> Wah - Compressor - Drive - Modulation pedals - reverb/delay -> amp

Because not all of my effects are well behaved - some give a noticeable volume boost/cut. I'd like to have a more even final output but can't do it by having the compressor first if the output from the pedals is unequal. The biggest offenders are some of the canned settings on the Digitech bass synth wah. The same thing will occur with my black russian muff if the volume knob isn't set a priori to match the bass output.

My plan is to add a Digitech Bass Squeeze to my pedal board and see how it works out. It will probably take me 2-3 weeks to get one off ebay and installed but I've reserved space and power for it so I'm ready.
I thought about getting a Behringer compressor (I don't need boutique pedals) but the digital delay I got from Behringer adds a wicked amount of hiss to the output. Also, the blue LED is blinding and the power supply I got from them is noisy as well! I'm eschewing Behringer effects and power supplies from now on.

the most versatile setup possible. sure a gritty sweep is different than swept grit but if you use your drive for tone rather than toy it'll work out just fine.
