If you see me buy this, please send me an envelope full of rat poison. Good thing the clips sucked.

I just don't get them. Copilot and Mid-Fi release pedals just as wacky for half the price. What is the point? Are the graphics really that big of a deal to people?

The only reason I could find for buying any of those pedals is if your in an electro outfit and you really need to get some strange waveforms going, and money is no concern.

They came off as even weirder than I thought in the fuzz movie
http://www.fuzzthemovie.com/

And not good weird like Bjorn of BJF and Mad Professor. It made me wonder if I'd ever get something if I ordered it from them.

I think of them as a fusion of Mid-Fi and ZVex. Super expensive, strange, insane charge for graphics, and not really stuff I'm interested in.

their **** is wack. sounds terrible, but is in big boxes with 'edgy' graphics, so it must be good for your full playback electro-clash revival act.

I've tried out a bunch of their stuff, both on builder consignment at 30th St Guitars in NYC and at Atomic, a used gear store near me. Two of the three in NYC wouldn't turn on and I while I didn't like the third, I couldn't tell if it was not to my taste or merely broken.

More recently I tried the Supersonic Fuzz Gun used at the local store. Sound-wise, it was alright -- very versatile and had a lot of nice lower gain sounds, but I didn't like heavier tones and the feedback oscillator wasn't implemented in a way that I found useful or usable. Matters of taste aside the circuit design struck me as incredibly lazy as the signal would cut out entirely when you put some of the pots around full counter-clockwise. There's no reason for that -- change one resistor value or tweak the voltage and the pot will work over its whole range.

I'm not gonna heap hate on them for their graphics or pricing, but I would have to have been a sucker to buy any of theirs that I tried. They are very hit or miss when it comes to build quality and design, so even if you like their vibe and clips, absolutely try one before you buy it.

I've heard worse, but... I just think it's funny that all their pedals sound like their band (which I like). I guess that's the point though.

Well I wasn't sure what to expect based on the hyped up description, but going from the clips, you can get all those tones and a million more from a WMD Geiger Counter.

I honestly prefer the sound of a cheap, circuit bent Casio.
