I've got an EHX BassBalls, a Qtron+ and a Boss thing I can't remember the model of as it's been out on loan to a buddy. I've also got a DOD FX25 on the way.
I guess you can tell I love the sound of envelope filters - I never met one I didn't like a least a bit and especially both the EHX pedals.
I was wondering if there are any programmable ones out there apart from the Line 6 FM4? I guess technically the FM4 isn't an envelope filter although I'll refer to it as one because that is one of the types of filter it can model.
For some live gigs I'm doing now I need an envelope filter I can get a few different sounds consistently. I haven't got the time (or inclination) to go chasing just the right settings while onstage in front of an audience in a live performance.
At the moment the FM4 looks like the one I'm gonna get - it's not a mutron but it'll do the job close enough for live use and it's programmable.
Although I'm generally NOT a fan of them, do any of the programmable multi-fx units happen to have a worthwhile envelope filter?

And being made here in Australia it MIGHT be a tad cheaper.

I just wanting a programmable Envelope Filter and, to me, it's just about worth the price just for that. Having all the other stuff (particularly fuzz and octave) will just be a sick bonus.

Sounds like it might be what you're looking for, and in a rare occurance is actually the cheaper of the options presented here.

I can't find any mention of it storing/recalling multiple settings. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
