Any reason to be leery of a used PP2?

I definitely want/need the Voodoo Lab Pedal Power 2.

I've seen many on eBay and other forums used. I've gotten plenty of other pedals used, but I'm a little wary on getting a used PP2.

Part of me thinks, for something like a power supply, I want to get it brand new with the 5 year warranty. But it's not like I've read anything about these things failing.

Is there any reason, besides the lack of a 5 year warranty, that I should be cautious in getting a used PP2?

TIA

Tim

I've never heard of one of these crapping out. I bought mine used and it's flawless. Do what you want but if you get a good used price, jump on it!

Normally I would agree with you, however the Voodoo Labs PP2 is so solid its unreal. If I could implant my knowledge that I have now after owning one, I would go back and buy used in a heart beat.

Same here. I am very satisfied with mine. And I love how perfectly it's mounted underneath my PT-JR.

There are power supplies just as good for less money but since you are going 2nd hand it isn't really much of a concern. I say go for it.
