Any reverb/analog delay pedals with a high-pass filter like the SMM/H?

I just sold my Stereo Memory Man with Hazarai as I just wasn't really using it for much more than reverb/ambience (and the volume drop did get to me at times). One of my favorite features of that pedal though was the filter- I loved being able to cut out some of the low end to decrease muddiness on shorter reverby delay times with bass.

Basically I'm now in search of another reverb or delay that can cop a good reverb tone that also has a high pass filter built in. I am considering a Deluxe Memory Boy, as it has a high-pass setting, but would love more options! Hell- modulation would also be nice...

Thanks!

I think the Malekko 616 has tone adjustments as well

Fully analog delays aren't exactly all over the place, and when you do find them, you'd be lucky to find anything more than Volume, Repeats, and Delay Time..

Ah- but these don't have the high-pass/bass-cut sort of filter do they? Just a standard high-cut filter. I could always put a delay in an effects loop with an EQ of some sort to remove bass from the delayed signal, but the filter on the SMM/H worked so well that I thought Id look for a single pedal solution if it existed!

Thanks!

Boss RE-20 can do hi and lo pass filtering and analog simulation.
My gripe w/ this pedal was the whoosh sound when the speed LED cascaded...Personally, I would pass on this pedal.

I am in the same boat as you are. I love reverb on bass, but it can make it too muddy. I have an Hardwire RV-7, and it is good, but it still only has a lowpass filter kind of tone knob.

What I have been looking at right now is the Strymon Blue Sky Reverb. It has both high and low damp controls. Still, 300 bucks is a lot to drop on reverb.

rratajski- I really love the options on alot of Boss pedals, but can't stand the way their bypass buffers mess with my tone. I really, really wanted to be able to use my old RC-20xl, but the tones it gave me were just uninspiring- maybe I'm just finnicky! Oddly, I've loved the buffers in all the Ibanez pedals I've owned- I used to leave my old Keeley-modded Tubescreamer in my signal chain even though I never used it just for the buffer!

I also have an RV-7, and really didn't even consider looking for a different reverb until I started fooling around with the reverb on the Stereo Memory Man w/ Hazarai. Being able to cut even just a little bit of lows from the reverb made a huge difference in the ambience and kept my note attack tight (adding an "air" to the sound rather than a rumble)- I could have easily left the reverb on just about all the time. If it weren't for the annoying volume drop when switched on, I probably would have kept that pedal for the reverb effects alone.

I am seriously considering the Deluxe Memory Boy now- I was able to get some pretty reverb-esque tones with that pedal and it has a low cut filter (requires holding one of the buttons down for a couple seconds, then the modulation depth knob becomes a low cut filter cutoff control). It also has a feedback loop where I could put an EQ to try to return a little brightness from the darkness of the repeats. I did notice that it is a much noisier pedal than the Hazarai or the Digitech, and also very touchy about adjustments (especially the Modulation section). I think I'll try to track down a used one so I don't take a hit if I decide to sell it...or I could always do the Guitar Center month return challenge

That Catalinbread analog delay looks pretty sweet also! I wonder how that tone-esque control would work with bass...

also had the SMMwH and loved this Filter thing...
but (IMO) nothing comes close to the ambience of a real spring reverb unit.
most of them do naturially cut some bass..
unfortunatley my spring tank does also alter the clean tone, so some sort of blend pedal wound be best.

oh and Carl Martin Echotone has a tone filter and a feedback loop
