Any Tech 21 Oxford owners?

I've heard some clips of an overdriven AD200B on youtube and I REALLY liked the tones that came out of it...I'm pretty set on buying an Oxford, but I'd love to hear some soundclips first if possible.

I have one but no facility for clips unfortunately.

I do really like the sabbath style bass drive sound given on the settings card, and it really nails the NIB sound

I don't own a tech 21 sansamp oxford, but I have heard some samples of the pedal on bass on a youtube clip and it sounded pretty cool on bass.

I asked a similar question a while back.

I already own the VtBass and tried out the Leeds against the Oxford, i bought the leeds. A few months later i decided to give all three a shootout at my local store. The oxford just seemed to have some muddy low end to it, i still preferred the Leeds but that also sounded a bit muddy. I should mention that i mean muddy when compared to the VTbass, which i could tweak however i want and still get a sound i like, i found that with the Oxford and to a Lesser extent the Leeds I was always tweaking to find something that wasnt there. In the i walked away with my vtbass and a couple of overdrives.

Thanks for the replies so far. I'm not really a Sabbath fan. I'm looking for some overdriven tones similar to those of Weezer in the Pinkerton album, which was recorded using a Matamp Orange.

I haven't used the Oxford but I just picked up the Earthquaker Devices Monarch and I'm totally digging it.

Not heard of that Monarch before! So it has plenty enough low end for bass use then?

It may loose some of the lowest lows but not terrible and it is based on the Orange amp flavor. I'm gonna try it 18v and then with a blender. It can go from kinda subtle to raging.

Here's a review with clips that another TB member posted.
