Question Any ways to get this kind of tone/reverb on a bass

A song to give you the idea to what I'm getting at: Otep - Ghostflowers

I really don't like Otep but if there's one thing I like it's the bassist and that crystalline tone he has. I've been trying to emulate that sound lately but no matter what pedals I've been using it doesn't sound anything like it.

The closest I get is with a Boss 7band equalizer but something is obviously missing. The sound still comes off as too "fat" and that's the main issue. I'm trying to get the tone to sound "wedged" (needle-thin when you pluck but reverberates like a normal bass).

So I'm coming to the experts on this one. As if I'm starting over, do you know any good (and relatively cheap) ways to get this tone? I know the bass I have and the strings on it are perfect as it is.

So which combinations do you think I should be using? It would be much appreciated to even tell how I should line up each knob/bar on a pedal or amp-head to get this sound so I won't be wasting so much time trying to find it. I'll just work it from there!

Try some Hartke stuff its fully bright & bassy too.Check this clip out.The sound is so clear & bassy its freakin madness.I think its Hartkes latest bass amp & running it through one of their new Hydrive cabs which are half paper cone & half Aluminuim cone it offers some good tones. Some of the hottest bassists are using them.

In my headphones, the clicky bass in that Otep - Ghostflowers vid sounds like it was played through a cab with a tweeter which was then mic'd. The bass may have been recorded via a direct box as well.

I didn't hear any reverb on the bass...

...and I'm not an audio engineer. "Want your money back?..

most of the time the bass is recorded with a D.I and a mic sound is blended..(well in big studios not bedrooms)there could be anything on it,there is compression on it. cant hear reverb..
