Any of you used any of the Roland Synth stuff w/ bass?

So gonna be getting a GR-20 Synth unit to use w/ my fender Roland-Ready Strat and found that it has a bass mode for all of the synths and I need to find a bass that will work with the GK-3B pickup.

I know it works with any bass but I need to know which basses in particular have enough body room to fit this pickup on them. (It's kind of a chunk-meister.)

Any help?!

Works fine on any Fender Jazz bass. Kind of seems like it was made for it.

You might have some trouble with latency and the GR-20. just be aware that there is no MIDI solution out there (AFAIK) that doesn't have some issue with latency on bass.

I have been using both the GR-20 and the V-Bass system with my basses. Works great!
As mentioned there is a bit of lag on the lowest notes on a bass guitar, but it works, and it doesn't lag on the higher notes.

So the GR-20 is good for pads and upper register noodeling.
For fast synth-bass lines I use the V-Bass. It has no tracking issues.
