Any Zoom experts?

My Zoom Player 3000B gave out today. I use its comp. followed by Overdrive5 along with the 8 band eq after that followed by ring mod then a little bit of room reverb. All it does now is make loud humming sound whenever a cable is connected to input jack, Isnt the cabe and no hum if no cord plugged in. Anyway Im concidering the B9.1ut as replacement cant figure out if it has ring modulator or not. BTW I think the B1 & B2 to include the B2.1ut garbage cause it wont articulate and its ring mod is horrible in comparrison. And its ovedrives mediocre at best. No, ring mod is not octave type effect like MF search for ring mod units thinks. Anyway hoping someone is familiar with the B9.1ut and can tell me if it has ring mod similiar to the old Player 3000B along with having a overdrive comprable to its #5. Thanks for any input to include suggestions of other units in the $200-$300 price range new via internet store prices. That are comprable in qaulity to the old zoom player upper end series.
