| Anybody have a VT Bass Version 2?

Since I'm a dinosaur male and don't follow fashions I slept right through the whole VT bass thing. I want to try one and am wondering if the ability to turn the speaker simulation off (which I think is the only change for version 2) is really that desireable. Can anyone comment on the difference with and without speaker simulation with the same settings? There are still some originals for sale and seems like it would make sense to save the $$ if the feature is either not desireable or offers a minimal sonic change. |
