Anybody know which of these Rocktron noise reducers are better?

I am looking at a rack mounted noise reduction unit, and I have the option of a used Rocktron Hush Super C and a Rocktron Hush II CX.
Does anyone know which of these is better and whether either is more or less appropriate for use with a bass amp (they seem to always be advertised for guitarists). Thanks

I can't speak about the Hush II CX, but I used to have a Super C and it worked incredibly well (I had an ADA MB1 at the time, and that bad boy is terrifically noisy without the hush).
