definatly a mod effect my like a chorus, flange, faze, etc...

my guess is a chorus ebs unichorus.

Octavider, with a flange and then looped would be my best guess.

The sub-bass sound is coming from someone else - all I hear is syrupy chorus. Maybe a very short delay or perhaps a detune effect as well.

Agree with Nifty. Chorus and a wee bit of delay (maybe just a chorus with a weird "pre-delay" setting).

The root notes are definitely being doubled on a synth though.

Check it out: the sub-bass notes might be being played by the guitarist!!! Watch his hands. There are a couple points where he's playing more more guitar-like tones, so I'm not 100% sure. Could be the keyboardist sitting behind him.

Edit: no, I was mistaken, toward the end of the vid it's more clear that it's not the guitarist. Never mind.
