He's been known to use an older silver Sansamp XXL and it damn sure sounds like it on this clip.

I was there. It sounded very booming and a lot of sizzle to the distortion. Emg active pick ups and the xxl should get you that tone.

Boss oc-2 octave pedal at the start i think, i know he uses a mxr phase 100, that with the sansamp xxl will get that sound

sansamp is one of trujillo's regular things thats a givin but didnt he also run marshall guitar amps along side his ampegs? I could be wrong but im sure i heard that somewhere in my travels.
