Mrs. Zooberwerx and I will be in Alexandria next week for various and sundry reasons. As always, we'll cap off our trip with a stop at IKEA / Potomac Mills. I'm planning on picking up a Gorm shelf & accessories for the project above and figured "what the heck...why not pick up extras for those who need them?" If you'd like in on this deal, please PM me. Not looking to make any money, just providing a courtesy for those who've supported my sorry butt over the years. I'll hit you up for the actual product and USPS costs...that's it.

J! | Looks to be about $8 or so according to the referenced thread. I can't be sure until I get there. It won't break the bank, trust me. FTR, I pretty much furnished my entire house with IKEA stuff back in '99. I think the net worth is $1800. I do have to run around and tighten up the hex screws once a year....well, the bed every 3 months but that's another story.

| | | | I made myself a GORM board and I love it. Only problem is you have to move the slats around a bit but once I did that mine was perfect!

To the best of my knowledge, IKEA does not sell "pedalboards". FWIW, the Gorm makes for an excellent shelf, too.
If anybody wishes to commit, please do so by Monday evening.

J! | JD,
You're on! I'll do what I can to keep postage at a minimum. Still cheaper than gas.
Any other takers?

Post pics of your engineering projects. I'm sure they'll vary to some degree from the original "blueprints".
Thanks
