Anybody use Rick-O-Sound with just one amp?

I am thinking of using ROS to send only the output of the bridge pickup to various effects while keeping the output of the neck pickup fairly clean. I then plan to use an A/B box to recombine the signals and send it to my amp.

Has anybody tried a setup like this one? I am trying to achieve the guitar/bass sound. Sure I can use the blend knobs on my effects, but I like the idea of separating the pickups.

I just need a Y-cable and an A/B box to try it out though.

In the 8 years I've had my Ric I've never tired the ROS and I do have everything you state there, I'll give it a go tonight if you want but may I suggest an A/B/Y box just incase you want to use both pickups on at the same time.

Also a small mixer or the Boss LS-2 might be better so you can toggle the signal with your bass instead of your feet

And, as always needs repeating evidently, passive mixing of channels is a bad idea. It can "work", but the odds of bad sound or feedback are pretty high. Use an active mixer like the LS-2, not a passive A/B/Y or a Y cord.

I've done it, but with two channel amps which is not what you're really asking. As mentioned, it's probably not going to work well to passively recombine the signal.

+1 A passive mixer won't get you there.
