How's it working out for you? And in what order do you have them on your board?

From what i have heard, they sound great together.

Mine sounds fabulous going into my Oxford on "thin" mode.

Did you need to readjust your Oxford when you put the B3K in? What did you do? And what exactly is "thin" mode. That is not a VT setting - I think. Did the role of your Oxford change? How? Thanks!

Thin mode is a non bass-boost mode on the B3k - it's a flat sound that is brighter and more piercing.

And yes, I set the Oxford to a darker, warmer setting than I usually do by itself. I'm still experimenting, but I can already tell you the B3k makes great preamps sound even better...especially if you are looking for aggressive sounds.

I was really going for a "Rusty Box" top end on the B3k clip, so it's VERY abrasive, but you can hear the way I set the Ox darker on that clip before I engage the B3k:

I split my signal with an LS-2. One side goes to an Oxide and the other to B3K, then that combined singal goes into a VT for a bit of EQ sparkle.

Hi!

My usual setup: Bass--->B3K--->Radial ABY--->VtBass/GK2001RBP--->mixing board

The knobs on the VtBass are set around 10 o'clock except for the treble at noon. It makes the the B3k more brighter overall, with more sizzling top end. Same thing with the 2001 and both (with VtBass) at the same time. This is to my likings and they work nicely together.
