And noticed the difference (tho its hard to miss  )
Its now thinner and doesnt block plugs below it. Kinda reminds me of the 1 spots ive seen in pics.

You can invert the other kind so they stack one on top of the other but with this one, if you have outlets on the side of it it blocks those. Plus you have that lump in the cord which isn't easy to route.

I'm guessing it's switch mode too, given the size. Shudder...

Wall warts sometimes run pretty hot if left on all the time, but if this is a switch mode it should be more efficient and hence cooler.

Another thing I don't like about it, since I'm using it on a pedal board, is the 10 foot cord. That's a ridiculous amount of excess wire. If it was one pedal being plugged into the wall, okay, but on a pedal board it's waaaaaaay too much.

So you are adding to your utility bill if you leave wall warts plugged in all the time. At least that's true of the traditional ones, I haven't investigated the switchmode ones in that regard.
