Anyone ever play a Maestro Boomerang Wah on bass?

Here's the story:

I got a very cheap Crybaby off of craigslist.

Then, today, I was perusing the interwebs for ideas on modding it and found a deal from someone on a yellow fasel + Maestro Boomerang Wah clone pcb.

If I'm going to put the effort into modding the crybaby for bass, it would be just as easy to drop in the Maestro board. BUT, if I go through the trouble of switching out the guts, I probably am not going to want to go back.

Any thoughts on this? Anyone here ever played bass through a Maestro?

JR

Yeah, I played bass through a Maestro Boomerang wah a few times...but it was all back in 1975 when I had crap gear and sucked as a bassist, so I can't really offer any useful insight on the combination.

I'm just posting here for bragging rights.

There's a Boomerang model in the M13/M9 so maybe some of those folks can chime in.
