I did a look on the wiki & searched but IT'S HARD to find demo's sometimes. I heard it's harsher than some OD's out there.

I just finished a whole album with my own band where I used the EBS valvedrive strait to DI. I used it mainly to warm up the sound and at a little grit. I was really pleased with the tone. Here are some samples... hope they help- www.myspace.com/lushprogress

I wouldn't use Harsh as a description at all.

Yeah, "harsh" is probably the last adjective I'd use for it...

well, what I found with this pedal is it CAN achieve a very warm tone with a low gain setting. However, the actual distortion it produces, particularly with a higher gain setting, CAN be aggressive.

It's a very nice pedal with some nice tones but I don't find it to be as versatile as some other pedals I've used.

Oh, it's not versatile at all. I find it to be a one trick pony in every sense, but for me, it's just the ticket I'm looking for, or was looking for before I got one.
