Anyone here like wah pedals?

Howdy all,

I've recently rediscovered my love of wah pedals and fretless basses!

Its taken me a long time to find one I've liked and I've played through a lot including the Dunlop bass wah, Morley Power Wah, Ibanez Weeping Demon, and everything in between. However I keep going back to my old Wah pedal. It is a DeArmond Model 1802.

A lot of wahs, I feel, make me lose the lower frequencies. This somehow fattens up my tone when I use it. For example, (since this is originally a guitar wah), compare a strat using a regular cry-baby wah to the intro of Voodoo Chile by Hendrix. I hope that makes sense.

It doesn't have any adjustable controls, its just a plug and play kind of deal. Unlike every other wah I've encountered, it also doesn't have a return spring. Its not broken, it was designed like that. It takes a bit of getting used to with the foot motions, but I feel there is more expression to be had.

I'll post a picture and sound clips later on.
