Since i only use 3 pedals now i was thinking of doing away with the board and just using the top of my amp to hold them. Anyone else do anything similer to this? |

But now I'm craving a big fat board!

I would just set them up on the floor every time I played. But I got tired of having to set them up so I got on board.

I'm kinda torn: the stuff on the board is so much easier to deploy, because it's all pre-wired, just pull it out of the road case & go...but I also feel like it tends to pidgeon-hole me, whereas with the "Free Range Stompboxes" I'm more likely to experiment with different combinations & connecting them in different orders. |

| | | | i put my compressor, overdrive, and distortion on top of my amp, with my volume pedal at my feet so i can adjust it with my foot on the fly. with this small amount of pedals, i'm ok with this setup, but i may go the board route with more pedals. |

I tried a miniboard for a bit but that all ended in tears. All the hassle, none of the fun. Back to jumbobutt now. Or just one dirt box. Depends on my mood.
