Anyone know the effect Geeze uses on Sign of the Southern Cross?

I saw Geezer Butler play live with Heaven and Hell (formerly Black Sabbath). When they played Sign of the Southern Cross, he was using the "wah-like" pedal with distortion and what kind of sounded like a phaser.

Does anyone know what effect that was? He's an amazing live preformer. It was far better than recorded version I've ever heard with them. Unfortunately, not even the live DVD they put out was as good as the concert I saw.

I'm guessing a Morely power wah distortion thing-a-ma-bob of some sort... My wah knowledge isn't really up to par at all though...

Morely's have a fairly recognizable look. I don't think was a Morely, but I could be wrong. I wish I had a picture of it... It was more of a Dunlop look.

I'm pretty sure it's just a Tycobrae wah pedal that he rocks back and forth while plucking the strings very fast.

Tycobrahe parapedal. You can get a reproduction, the Parachute, here ($380). http://www.chicagoiron.com/

Yup, I'm thinking that would have to be it! Thanks a ton Would'e.

Has anyone of you ever used this thing? It sounded amazing when I heard it live. My guitarist was giving me the "you have to buy that pedal, immediately.." look. LOL!

Don't forget that Wilson Effects also has a clone of the parapedal, the Freaker Wah. The pedal is 50% less expensive (and it has a smaller footprint), and the company is 100% less douchey.

I almost bought one from Chicago Iron a while back, but to this day I haven't had the pleasure of using the original Tcyobrahe Parapedal, the replica reissue version (Chicago Iron Parachute), or any of the wah pedals based on it.

I've seen him use it twice. He just rocks it back and forth and plucks with his nail. Pretty simple technique.
