Anyone know what a 'blueberry mod' is?

There's a Hotcake up on the local C/L that's described as having a 'blueberry' mod. I sent mail to the seller asking if this is supposed to be a BJFE Blueberry-ish mod...he doesn't know what the mod is, or what a Blueberry is either - all he knows is that it has a blueberry mod. Any idea what this might be?

Bluesberry mod perhaps? Sounds like a switch to make it sound like the Crowther Bluesberry.

I don't know dick about Crowther, just Google'd "blueSberry mod" because it rang a bell inside my dome.

its a bluesberry. so it probably mean it has the jumpers inside the pedal to switch between the normal hot cake and the bluesberry, which would also mean it can switch between a normal hotcake and a xlf (bass) hotcake.

unless its a bluesberry hotcake stock. great pedals.

nothing to do with bjfe

all the new hotcakes have both bass/guitar options and normal/softedge(bluesberry) mode switches inside the pedal.

I had one for a while, very nice, especially with fresh roundwounds.
