Anyone modified a bass or guitar case for a pedalboard?

Sign in to disble this ad
I'm curious....for all the pedal addicts here (myself included) has anyone modified the hinges on a bass or guitar hardhsell case to have the top removeable?

My pedal addiction is far beyond control now.... space is always disappearing faster than my mastercard credit

its still in the works. so far its just the case and a slab of wood i have on the inside so i can remove it. but i might go with your idea and have more room by making the hinges come off instead of the removable wood as the board. i'll get pics up when im done

Cool, looking forward to seeing it.

Yes, with my boards that I build I prefer to just be able to pop off the cover and BAM, ready to go.

I'm not a fan of having a board separate from the case, did that for a bunch of years and it was just too much of a pain with loose wires sticking out, etc.
