I'm curious about these pedals... no bass demos on youtube of the Son of Hyde on bass, and the only one i could find of the Angry Fuzz the kid is using a wah almost the entire time and the sound quality is crap. I'm most interested to know if they'll play well with an active Ibanez 5 string. Low end loss is not a big deal, I have a clean blend.

I might try to find a dealer and try them out. Like I need another pedal lol.

I use to own a Jackyl & Hyde. Played an active 5 string through it.
Both channels sucked low end, even with the bass boost switch on the OD side. The distortion (Hyde) side didn't react well to the output of my bass, mostly everything came out sounding like farts. After 3 practice sessions my bandmates insisted I get rid of it. I did like the sharp/blunt switch though, more distortion pedals should use such a feature.

Can't say if the Son of Hyde is any different.
And of course, your results may vary.
