Seriously, ***? Anyone ever seen this and have an idea of what he's on about? What manner of voodoo is this?! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Make-your-Zoom...QQcmdZViewItem Quote:
Promised professional studio sound by the manufacturers? Sick of that dull home recording tone?
Then I suggest you read on…
This is no Scam or Con, This guide really does help improve your sound drastically.
This guide is a little known secret that will make your effects pedal sound incredible, not many know of it, guitarists dream of sounding like this, But no-one yet has laid it out as simply and as briefly as this ebook.
I have researched others on ebay selling similar information and have yet to find anything as beneficial as this product.
If you play using a multi effects pedal then this is the guide you must buy today!
This advice will work on any multiFX unit that uses amp simulation & speaker simulator.
If you want to learn how to get a much better sound with very little effort, read on....
This information is something that most guitarists will not have heard of but really should know about. Drastically improve the sound of your guitar with this low cost investement…
· It doesn't involve changing any of your patches - that we all spend hours designing and perfecting
· If you play in a band then you need this guide - cut through in the mix during rehearsel time so so that you can actually hear what your guitar sounds like live.
· Turn down your amp and save your ears - And the sound was so much clearer, brighter, and professional.
· Sound like a valve amp and less like a computer simulation.
· Greatly improve your effects - The original tone and all the effects like delay, chorus, phaser, flange, wah etc. will be greatly improved.
· Gain more control over the sound with the pedalboard.
Can I not just learn this from the manufacturer or the manual?
It turns out that this way of setting up the rig is the correct, professional way of doing it. The way they tell you to connect everything together and set up the pedalboard in the manual is great if you're just sat in the bedroom at home and it doesn't matter what your tone sounds like. I've been to lots of gigs and noticed lots of guitarists (well all of them!) setting up their rig as per the manual... you can never hear these guys - they're playing their heart out and it's a shame, it's just wasted talent. You think you can be heard but out front it sounds like bedroom guitar!
You must be intrigued by now?
Believe me you will be glad you hit "Buy it Now" because the difference this guide will make to your sound will change your whole outlook on guitar...
This method will totally renew your interest in playing. No exaggeration.
Stop sounding like a "bedroom guitarist". Why spend all that money on a decent multi effects unit if you're not going to get the best out of it? Click BUY IT NOW to find out how
What do I need to get this incredible sound then?
NOTHING!
* You won’t need any extra leads
* You won't have to spend any extra money
* There's no "catch" or con here, it's just a straight up honest piece of information from one guitarist to another that WILL improve your sound, and not just a little.
* Note: This method of setting up is not the "4 cable method" which you may have read about.
* It's really really simple and doesn't require any technical knowledge other than what you already know.
* No technical electrical alterations or soldering.
* EXTREMELY Really simple instructions.
* NOTE: This method can only work if your amplifier has an effects loop. If you’re not sure contact your manufacturer before purchasing.
Thank You for Reading. BUY IT NOW and change your sound TODAY! | |

Best you'll get is some settings or how to choose the right level from the pedal or something.

...the deal w/ that Ebay guy AFAICT is that so many guitarists use an amp-modeling patch on their Pod or w/ever and then feed that into the main input on their amp, and the two voicings in series never sound that good; but running the amp modeler straight into the fx return jack allows you to bypass the preamp stage of your amp, presenting the Pod/etc. tone as cleanly as possible. |

I thought that other than sprinkling fairy dust on the strings, this must've been what he was talking about. I'm going to sell an ebay item that teaches you how to use a compressor and reviews the various models out there and how they work on bass |

It did sound a little more clear but if I use the instrument input, turn up the amp, and bypass the eq it sounds about the same. But I use the eq to compensate for the 1x12 cab and I keep the multi's speaker simulation turned off. What I don't understand is why it was louder w/out the pre amp. I thought the purpose of a pre amp was to bring an instrument level signal up to line level. |

It's called plugging the pedal into your amp.
