Compressor pedal with what seems to be the "right" amount buttons :-)

TransMORGrifier: Bass

Yes, I have the Emma TransMORGrifier and it is an excellent pedal to use with a bass. The settings I have right now give me a consistent volume and a mean punch on every string and fret. I definitely recommend getting this

i just scored the emma and looking for it to give me a consistent volume too. I have the ratio around 9-10 and the level almost maxed. i'm still messing with the release and attack. what settings are you using on it?

Ben Kenney, bassist for Incubus is using one, and in BassPlayer interview he said that "it is like having a rackmounted DBX 160 in a pedal - it´s fast and clean".

I had one for awhile. It was pretty good at subtle compression, but the noise introduced at higher ratio's made it unusable for "special effect' hard-compression. It definitely adds some 'sheen' in comparison to your bypassed tone (good or bad, depending on your taste). I don't use tweeters on my amp rigs, but it still seemed bright to me.
