Anyone use 2 pedal boards?

I have a pair of Boss BCB-60s.

The main pedal board can be seen as overkill to some, but all the pedals get used frequently.

Turbo Tuner, Multi-Comp, Tech 21 VT, Xotic BB + RC, MXR BOD, BDDI w/ a keely looper after the VT Bass. A Zoom H4 field recorder chills on the board too.

The 2nd effects board goes into my DBX 160a to the effects loop of my DB 750.

These toys include - Keeley Looper, Boss PH-2, T.M. Stevens Wah (Badass Pedal), Boss HF-2, Boss DD-6, EBS IQ, Digitech TL-2, and Boss RC-20XL. Also, there is a SWR footswitch that is my mute switch for the DB750.

I can instantly turn off my tap delay with the keely looper and at the same time bypass the whole board and just have the DBX 160a running

I also have a drum machine running into my rc-20 so I can have instant rhythm sections recorded to show my band at next practice

These are some older pix where the pedals in a different order

I play hip-hop, reggae, funk grooves w/ (thanks to my drummer + these effects) aggressive stoner rock climaxes. Any other pedal suggestions?

No, not anymore. Used to have a big and small, but for my own sanity, I needed to consolidate. Presently, and for some time now, I've had the same 11 pedals, on the same board. No plans to change it up anytime in the foreseeable future.

I currently have 3, but only 2 of them are wired up and get used Live. The 3rd is my "Fun" board consisting of pedals I don't get to use in my band, but like to have until I find a use for them. I consider the boards as one big board, like a modular setup, in which the first board is for general tone shaping, and can be used by itself with no effects, the second board adds on to the first for the effects I use with my covers band, and eventually the 3rd board (when it's finished) will have the mad stuff that will plug onto the 2nd board for all kinds of effected crazyness when jamming and doing originals.

Board Number 1: A small Diago Gigman, just for the bare essentials so I can grab n' go if I don't need effects. This consists of my X2 Wireless receiver, Mojohand Cream Pie for a bit of dirt, Korg DT-10 tuner, and a Visual Sound Volume pedal (for matching the outputs between my Passive and Active basses).

The second board is my main effects board, it's a Pedaltrain Junior, and the Diago plugs straight into the front end of this board which consists of Boss OC-2, Xotic XBlender, home made Swollen Pickle/Big Muff fuzz clone, Crowther Prunes and Custard, Analogman Chorus with Deep switch, and an MSD Earthquaker Bass Wah. Still experimenting with the order of things, but should have settled on a final setup soon.

My 3rd board is the largest, being a Pedaltrain PT-2, and has on it (not in any particular order as it's not wired up): Original Mutron III, Original Digitech WH-1 Whammy, Montgomery Appliances 77 flanger (A/DA clone), Atomic Echo Clone (original Way Huge Aqua Puss in a different enclosure), Catalinbread Serrano, Catalinbread Valcoder trem, EHX BassBalls (I bought this to perform the internal trimmers->external pots mod, but haven't got round to it yet).

Haven't got any pictures of this setup yet, but if anyone would like to see it all I could take some

Yes! I have a 'primary' board w/ my most often used pedals. It also serves as a switching "brain" and is central to both my live and studio rigs.

I also have 2 'secondary' boards. One contains my Moog BassMURF, associated expression pedals, tb loop and a reverb as well. I also have a board containing less-often used pedals. Either (or both) of these secondary boards is easily patched into my 'primary' board via a 1/4" patch bay auxiliary loop integrated into my Loop Master switching system.

For live use, I usually only use the 'primary' board- sometimes carrying an extra pedal or two plugged into the aux loop. For the studio, however, I often use 2 boards (depending on the music) and have used all 3!
