I just got mine in the mail yesterday. I'm new to effects, so instead of paying hundreds (thousands?) for multiple pedals I'm not sure if I want nor have no clue about, I figured I couldnt go wrong with the small investment I made on the XT live.
Overall it's a blast! One thing I've noticed is it's going to take some tweaking to get the levels right as far as consistent volume for the premade settings, but with a little quality time it definately seems doable. The fx sounds are cool, configurable and numerous. I'll probably never use the vast majority of them, but they are very fun to experement with, and I found my creative juices really flowing while I messed around with them (for hours!).
I really like the edit software also. Much easier to sit in a chair at my computer with my bass than indian style on the floor squinting at that tiny screen. I'm looking forward to playing with the amp mods as well, although I'm not so sure how necessary they are with my Hartke 5500 and 410xl, which I'm definately happy with already. I'm probably going to blow out most of the presets to make space for my own settings, and ones from other users on the Line 6 website. I've found a couple of really nice user created sounds already, and there's like 430 more pages to look through.
I know it's early, and I haven't tried it in a live setting yet, but I'm quite stoked, hope you enjoy yours as much as I am!
