Anyone uses/d the SMM w/Hazarai live?

So after spending 3 hours on tb last night browsing about delays, it seems like the SMMH w/Hazarai is the missing link on my pedalboard, mainly because it has tap tempo without the annoying boss system where you have to hold the switch for 3 secs, or no need for external tap tempo foot switch, and it's powerable with a 200mA psu, which is what my BBE supacharger outputs at max. The Nova delay is definitely the most interesting, but it's power requirements put it out of play, unforstunately.

However, from the sound clips, videos, etc that I have seen/heard, it seemed like the SMMH is more of a one-man-does-lots-of-crazy-stuff-with-one-pedal rather than a simple delay - lots of knobs to turn and fiddle with, but rather hard to play without your hands to control it..

So I wanted some opinions of the people who own it - do you use it with your band, have you already played live with it? Is it easily usable?

Also, a question - can the tempo be set with the tap tempo while the pedal is offline bypassed?

thanks in advance!

I used it with my hands in a pedal-based noise rig, but while I owned it, I tried it out on bass, and it works fine for simple delay and looping with just your feet. You can tap a tempo while in bypass. It's awesome. It might be overkill, but if you have the space and the cash, you might as well go for it and then you're set if you ever DO need reversed mutli-tap delay.

I think you can make it simple to use if you dial the sound you want and store it in a preset with the Hazarai button
