Hi all - I know the answer will be somewhere on the forum and I've read through many threads that give the thumbs up but none quite answer my question so here goes.
I play in a loud rock band. I have a set up that should suffice (see my sig), but in certain situations I find the big bottom end I need gets lost by the sheer volume of 2 guitarists and an ogre of a drummer!
I am in the process of adding another speaker cab (most likely another 4x10)but at present dont have the funds. 2nd hand these pedals seem very cheap, and from my understanding enhance both bottom and high end without increasing gain.
My issue is sometimes I fell like I am driving my cab a little hard to get the volume needed for the bass to be there, with this pedal would the low end be assisted to be "there" a little more without adding EQ gain that may start damaging my cabs.
In theory I am looking at an inexpensive bandaid until I can get the extra cab happening.
