| Aphex Punch Factory/ Noise Reduction!?!?

I stopped using the punch factory a few months ago as It did not do much for me and is a very subtle compressor. I recently bought an svt 2 pro and gave the Punch factory a try again.
I have a mexican jazz bass that has always had a hum, assuming it is from poor sheilding/ pickups. For whatever reason, when I engage the punch factory, the hum goes away and I notice the pedal working a lot more and really like it! Is there any ryhme or reason why it would act as a noise reducer!?!?! |
