Arion Salazar effects in Thanks A Lot by Third Eye Bline

I was listening to Third Eye Blind yesterday and I noticed that Arion Salazar, the bassist, was using some fuzz and distortion, and one song in particular used fuzz and distortion, and also some sort of modulation. Here's a video someone made of the song - (http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=z-A_FO...eature=related). At 4:10, he is using fuzz and possibly phaser. Does anyone know what he used?

A friend of mine was their stage manager for two or three tours. He said Salazar used all Boss pedals because he was pretty rough on them and they could be replaced at any time.

Looking back on this, it sounds like fuzz + flanger, but it might be phaser.
