Ashdown Bass Overdrive issues

Sign in to disble this ad
So my ashdown pedal recently began doing this thing. Sometimes when I step on it and engage the OD, it goes into a very weak, farty signal...best way I can describe it.

But if I turn it off, and click it back on once or twice, it comes back on full bore.

Any thoughts?

I had the same problem, it was my cable.

Although it could have been something else.

On the box the vu looks like it has a light in it when mine didn't light up i gave it a small tap and the vu fell out. After pulling the pedal apart i found the vu didn't have a light and was stuck in place with an adhesive !! no wonder they are cheap, sounds like s**t to.

i think the sound pretty good actually. and they arent that cheap. other than the VU meter (which is a marketing gimmick anyway) the box it self is really well built. a pretty versatile drive
