vintage mode, volume at 12 o clock, tone between 3 o clock and all the way up, drive at 8 o clock (all the way down) OR comp cut mode, volume around 6 o clock (make volume even) tone same as previous, drive maxed out. use a pick with both of those settings, should give you some nice bite, adjust drive to taste
