I have sucessfully used the LXP5 in both ways- between bass and amp, and in the amp's loop. It worked fairly well both ways, but had lower noise levels when in the loop.

Maybe if you describe to us exactly how you've got it hooked up- including what kind of cables you're using (I mean the plug connectors, not the brand) and which outputs are going to which inputs?

Have you gotten the LXP5 to work with any other rig? Maybe you could set it up with other gear to test that it actually works! Also I'd test the cables and the power supply to make sure they all work 100%.

Question Audio troubles LXP5

thanks for your advising... I'll check the cables but think they are working
regarding the power supply, the unit specify 9V/1.5A... I'm using one of that multivoltage setted at 9V/1A...think it shouldn't be a problem
thanks again... I'll let you know after I try

Also be sure to check whether the power supply needs to be AC or DC.

1A < 1.5A

That's not necessarily your problem, because the specification could just mean that the unit's power supply is rated for up to 1.5A even though the unit only needs 1A, but it could be that the unit needs more than 1A.
