| If you can afford to jump up to the 3000 series do it. The 2000 only has 10 frequencies to choose from (could be fine). The frequency response only goes down to 100 Hz, so assuming that you plan to use it with bass, you will have noticeable low end loss. There are a number of area's where the 3000 is a much better unit, but those two are the main ones that stand out for live bass use.
I really liked Audio Technica wireless for vocals etc., but on bass even the 3000, 4000, and 5000 series do not have the frequency range that some others have. They only get down to 70 Hz...where as AKG (to name one) goes down to 35 Hz. I would suggest looking at the Frequency Response in the specs before you buy anything for bass. |
