awesome fuzz machine pedal

I am not the biggest fan of fuzz pedals. But has anyone else tried the awesome fuzz machine. For me it sounded so good I bought one. I was just wondering if anyone else has tried one. I tried and heard others but somehow this pedal changed my ideas about fuzz pedals in general. I could not believe it cost 185. Its still alot for many but compared to the higher priced fuzz pedals I feel it is superior to many. But again I don't know what it is but this pedal changed me for the better when thinking about fuzz effects. Has a pedal changed your ideas about certain effects that you yourself thought you would never buy?

Bump from downtown... I just caught wind of this thing, and after listening to it on bassfuzz.com, I shot off an email to Brian to see about getting one to me. I was really impressed with the range of sounds, and I'm definitely going to get one on order come hell or high water. I've got to think that not many people have heard of it, or I think there would be a lot more talk!

I've been talking to Brian about buying one. I'm being a little specific with my order, but he's been nice about answering my questions. Seriously, if you had any ideas for changes, he'll definitely work with you about them.

Really looking forward to getting one.

Can you post a link to that? I seem to be having trouble tracking it down myself. Thanks!

Cool, it's good to know that he's around and is open to dialog like that. I don't think I know enough about effects to recommend any changes, unless he has any optimizations for bass in mind (although by all accounts, it already works fine for bass). About the only thing I'd want to mess around with is the color, and I'm not even picky about that. The two nicest colors (IMO) that I've seen is the mustard yellow and the brushed silver on Brian's myspace page, but fuzzhugger.com only has some sparkly silver and a deep red in stock. If I could get something a little nicer I'd do that, but either way, I'm very much looking forward to Brian's response.

I am glad some of you fellow bassist are getting interested with this fuzz. I have not found anything wrong with this thing at all. Its amazing. I love the features. For those who like to tweek this is right up your alley. Personally I am not too good at that but it is still perfect for me. Those of you who are getting it I think you will like it alot. Once other bassist get wind of this thing I think it could go into the mammoths price.

Oh I don't know enough about fuzzes either. Otherwise I'd probably build them myself! But he can tweak the tone on the switch, which is what I spoke to him about.

And he can probably accommodate you with whatever color you want. I've been talking to him about using different colored ink for the letters (i.e. not black or white). So far it hasn't work, although he mentioned something about silk-screening.

I've got one on order directly from Brian. Apparently, among other things, he got a bad case of food poisoning, which has slowed my order down big-time. But, I just got my Paypal payment request, so I'm hoping it will ship this week. I'm really stoked to hear it too!
