Angry Awww Crap! Missed out on a sweet Chorus deal.

I've been watching a Peavey Bi-Amp Chorus on eBay all week, and missed the end of the auction because I slept in this morning. Not only that, but the auction ended at just $15.50!!

Doh! I am so pissed off at myself for missing that sweet deal. I guess I'll be going with my second choice: a Rocktron Deep Blue.

The Rocktron is a sweet pedal!

I'd take the Deep Blue over the Peavey anyday. Too bad about the luck, though.

I think the Rocktron probably will be better since it has stereo outputs and a dry/wet control. The Peavey was just a good price considering the good reviews I've seen.

Why'd you wait till the last minute to bid? I usually just bid what I'm willing to spend on an item and let it run it's course. I'd say I win 75% of the items I want with this simple strategy. If I don't win, someone else wanted it more than me and proved it with his wallet. Not by being lucky.

People are willing to pay more when they know someone else is after the same item, and I have to take international postage into consideration as well.

Does anyone know if the Deep Blue sucks tone when bypassed? It's not true-bypass, but I wonder how good the bypass is...

I have 2 roctron pedals and their bypass is just fine i dont notice any tone or gain difference what so ever. I think the bypass on them is even better than on my DD-6.

Good to hear. The Deep Blue sound clips on the Rocktron website sound great.

One cool thing about the Peavey pedal is that it has a built-in instrument-level crossover. I can't think of another pedal that will do that- certainly not for $25 shipped.
