AX30B Question!

Sign in to disble this ad
Just bought a used Korg AX30B bass multieffects processor to use at church, since they want me to run ampless and my tone thru the soundboard is dog poop. I like it, I guess; there wasn't a manual with it so I went on Korg's website. This processor is so old they don't offer the manual for download anymore.

Called Korg. Very nice CS dude said he'd photocopy a manual and send it to me. Thank you!

Got the photocopied manual today. The guy, bless his heart, goofed and sent me all the even-numbered pages and none of the odd-numbered pages. On two-sided copies, yet...

So I'm going to have to call again. Meanwhile I've discovered how to get into the user banks, which have a lot of groovy sounds created by the previous owner. There aren't many I feel I can use in church (though there is one preset called "Fayza" which gives me a great tone for playing the signature bass lick from "For The Love Of Money" by the O'Jays. Might be good for an offertory, except not many people in my church would get the joke, and those who did might not think it was funny.)

So until my odd-numbered pages arrive, does anybody possibly know how to get at the factory presets on this thing? I suspect there might be some more usable tones for me there. Thank you!

I feel your pain. Unfortunately, I don't have your answer. But I do suggest you put the name "Korg AX30B" in the title of the thread, otherwise what are the odds the right person will ever bother to click in to read it?

I have an AX30B...

... and I use it, too!
As for the manual, I am in the process of scanning it for a bassist in Germany who is able to read Englisch. I can email it your way as well. Just tell me where.

Nick.

Korg AX30B Manual

Hi Bass Carver,

I'm totally new to this site and Forum and read that you have a Manual for the Korg AX30B.
I Bought the pedal last year but no manual, and I'm still trying to work out how to use it!
If you could send me a copy of the manual I would be extremely grateful,

Thanks a lot,

Best wishes,

Dean.

The manual is in my sig.
You can also use the AX-300B manual since they're almost completely similar.
