| Axe FX'ers: I have a question
I'm looking for an end all guitar and bass rig and am considering using my Aguilar Tonehammer 500 as a power section for an Axe FX due to its power (500 watts @ 4 ohms) and small size (will fit on a rack shelf). Please tell me if the below would work.
Guitar rig: Axe FX II (power amp and cab sims off) -> effects return of Aguilar Tonehammer 500 -> Avatar 2x12 guitar cab
Bass: Axe FX II (power amp and cab sims off) -> effects return of Aguilar Tonehammer 500 -> Aguilar bass cab
For FOH nights I'd turn my power amp and cab sims on.
For small bass gigs I just pull the Aguilar Tonehammer 500 out and just bring that. |
