a/b and splitter box in one?

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi guys,

I need an box/pedal with two inputs and two outputs.

Pedal/Box Output A ---> AMP A
Pedal/Box Output B ---> AMP B

But I'd like to have a choice to
1) split either Output A to AMP A and AMP B
2) split Output B to AMP A and AMP B
3) let Output A go to AMP A and Output B to AMP B
4) let Output A to AMP B and Output B to AMP A.

Is there a pedal I could use?

Cheers

Not 100% sure on this, but I'm pretty sure the Boss LS-2 would cover some of what you want. Not sure about it, so I'd check the manual online or wait for others to chime in.

that's a lot of outputs, no inputs. this confuses me.

seems output A would always go to Amp A, and output B would always go to Amp B.
please change so as to accurately ask question. methinks the use of the word Input would be helpful.

The pedal has to have two inputs and two outputs.

I will have a look at the Boss LS2.

Maybe this will explain it a bit better. The pedal i'm talking about is pointed by the arrow.

What's wrong with just using two A/B boxes? I'm sure you could get a DIY'er to put two A/B boxes into one casing if really necessary.

the LS-2 has one input.

Looper used to make custom pedals that would suit your needs, but I think they went out of business.

I know this thread is two months old. But if you're still searching, I ran across an item at musiciansfriend called the "Carl Martin Route Box Double A/B Footswitch". It might do what you need

I tried to post the link here, but I'm having some problems getting the hang of my new computer. Sorry.

that looks interesting. I'd like to see a schematic. I bet it could be built pretty cheap. It looks like you could just connect the 'output' to the 'input' and skip the pedal board.

Don't know if you ever found a solution (year old thread i know), but this is what you're looking for:

True Bypass Switching Systems, Guitar Effects, A/B Pedals, Pedal Boards, Stompboxes, Guitar Buffers, DIY Kits!!!
