Smile B2.1u levels

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi
I have a B2.1U which i've been using as a practice amp for some time, I usually play live with a Fender Jazz straight in the amp and no effects. When I recently took it to rehearsal and plugged it in the amp it was overdriving like mad. I guess its just a level thing and I need to turn the output level down a fair bit. But its set at a level I like for just practising through headphones. Is this just a fact of life that I'll need different patch levels for amps and headphones? Or have I missed something here?
Sorry if this is really dumb question but I'm old and these new fangled young kids toys are a bit beyond me - LOL

If you turn the 1st knob all the way to the control module you can adjust the master volume to be more compatible with instrument level. However, this master volume will reset itself every time you turn the power off and on. I get fine results just using the active instrument input on my amp even if I'm playing a passive bass. You could also set up one bank of patches for your amp with appropriate individual volumes. These will not reset themselves.
