B2.1u Transpose function (pitch shifter)

My band wants to audition a number of singers and we might have to play the same songs in several keys. Instead of having to learn the songs in several keys which might only get to play once, I am hoping to be able to transpose by just a switch of the button.

I have tested the pitch shifter on the B2 to transpose but the notes sounded quite weird and there was a slight delay (latency?). It sounds felt like it was colored with some effects like chorus/reverb/wah/whatever, even though I had set the balance to level 100 and other effects were turned off.

Anyone uses the B2.1u to transpose notes? Any success?

Your experience is reality. Learn the new keys. You're going to do it eventually anyway, no need to get pissed at your pedal in the mean time.
