After trying to become a minimalist and failing miserably, I've found myself expanding this thing over the past few months. I finally broke down and picked up an NYC board to house my collection.
Line 6 XDS Wireless > EBS MultiComp > Tech21 VT Bass > EBS Octabass > EBS Bass IQ > EBS UniChorus > Zoom B2 > Boomerang III > Boss RV-5
This chain is completely quiet except for noisy patches on the Zoom which is rare. I'm pretty happy with it.

Not enough room, power supply oddities, limited choice due to lack of proper cabling space, and even an unpredictably dead pedal. Unless you only use 1.5 pedals (or less) the bigger boards just make sense.
